We are an “on your lot” custom builder, and do inventory some land, thereby reducing overhead costs, which enable us to offer the lowest possible prices to our Buyers. We maintain lists of available lots and land within our building area for our Buyers benefit. We also have spec homes available from time to time.

Do You Have Financing Available for Your Homes?
We usually build homes financed by local lenders. However we do have several preferred Lenders available who will meet with you at our locations taking applications and answering questions, to assist buyers in the process.

What Type of Warranty Do You Offer?
Poulson offers a comprehensive warranty package on every home we build. This warranty includes a one-year full coverage warranty, a 2-10 year mechanical warranty, and a 10 year slab warranty to give you the peace of mind that comes with owning a Poulson Custom Home.

You also select and help plan the building site and can visually inspect your home while it is built.

We do limited customization. In addition we will price out and build a home from your plans, using our specifications.

Can We Provide Any of the Work (Sweat Equity) on Our New Home?
We do allow Customers to handle certain phases of the work on their new home, such as site work and lot improvements, purchasing their own lighting fixtures, cabinets and floor coverings.

What is the Length of Time that is Required to Buy and Build a New Home?
We cannot give an exact prediction of the time needed to complete your home due to the many variables that have an effect. There is the time to complete the purchase, obtain permits and financing, size and complexity of the home and the construction time. We will give you our best estimate once we can assess all of these variables together.
